Under the laws of each state in the United States, a driver must pull to the side of a road, stop, and let pass a vehicle they see approaching with emergency lights and/or siren activated.
But under the federal laws of the United States there is only one vehicle for which you must pull off and let pass. Can anyone tell me what that one vehicle is and why the law was passed?
I'll keep looking and tell you if you're right or wrong.
HINT: This federal law was passed in 1942 and is still a legal law today. It is also a federal law in Canada.
