I drove thru Shreveport on 20 twice this week and it is seriously like a freaking insane roller coaster ride!! But your wheels aren’t locked in tracks and neither are the vehicles around you lol! Crazy how bumpy it is!!

No lie. Was my 1st time thru there. Nothing like stoppimg after just so you can pick up all the stuff that landed on the floor while you were driving thru a place.

So, you are obviously doing the same thing I am for storage. Sleep on the bottom bunk, store your crap on the top bunk. After my laptop hit the floor from the top bunk for the third friggin time, I created a solution. And it's cheap. I went to Lowes (Home Depot would work too) and got some shelving boards. They are 12" wide, 36" long. I got 2 of them, and wedged them in between the mattress of the top bunk and the rail that holds it in place. It essentially creates a wall, and it keeps everything where you want it. I don't even mess with the cargo net anymore, as it hasn't been necessary. But, if you wish to use it in conjunction with the shelving boards, it does fasten just fine. The boards do not get in the way or hamper the functionality at all. There's my redneck tip for the day. When I get back to the truck again, I'll snap a picture if you wish.

I'm guessing that Qualcomm is one of the newer units. I'm jealous. I am so GD sick of the POS unit I have. I have had it serviced 4 times. I have asked for a new one twice, and the shop guys just keep trying to fix the old one. So sick of my piece of junk unit. Enjoy yours.

It's the old style, at least to me. Seen different version in the 2018s, this one isn't like those, it is more rectanglular with the lit up buttons to the right of the screen.

Don't know , I've never manually put myself on the drive line. I'll try to remember to do so when I leave out after getting hours back and see if I can.

So you never take "rolling 30's? When I'd drop n hook places I'd go off duty roll around complex, find my spot, back in and unhook, roll over to my empty and get hooked and then as soon as clock hit 30mins off duty manually put myself on drive line and that would suffice for my 30. Now whatevr time truck rolls in off duty must be accounted for while sitting still cuz I cant put myself onto drive line. And if I leave right at 30mins after moving a little when get out onto road it will kick your time back down and now count it as a 30min break. Pain in the ###
