    This was on a step and on the back was a John Deere sprayer with the tires off straddling the deck, axles were where you couldn't change a tire without lifting the sprayer.

    The means of tying that thing down are unacceptable, as is the method of blocking under the frame.

    In principle I don't see anything wrong with doing this, but the execution is bad.

    Maybe nothing wrong doing this, BUT, no room for error, if anything slips the truck won't turn and then the problem begins.
