Checking Lug Nut Torque

    Why just kidding? I too, was planning on welding all the tire nuts in place so I don't have to worry about tire inspections.

    Thanks for sharing your expertise! I have a suspicion that CRE and Swift is going to experience an influx of illegal welds now. "I read about it in a forum somewhere."

    your a driver not a mechanic. almost every nut and bolt on the truck have a torque rating. gonna check them all twice a day??

    plus one would need a torque multiplier tool. no way in heck can anyone not use one for the massive torque the lug nuts need.
