BK60 is the most sought after engine produced. PK60 is the next step down both has factory power programs that are 500HP. The BK60 is a 16:1 compression engine with piston oil cooling nozzles. The MK and NK were most commonly known as the 430-480 HP Engines. If you know the right person a BK60 can safely be tuned up to 800 HP 2250 TQ.

Can anyone tell me if the MK series has piston coolers or are they at least drilled for them?

It has the has the holes drilled but since it's a standard build (not a premium) they're more than likely blocked off

Can I remove the blocks and put the coolers in? Also can I use premium parts in it? Heavy wrist pins and two piece pistons. It's just a bare block right now

I've honestly never seen one without the piston coolers but theres supposed to be bolt on steel plates over the holes. Pretty much everything should be interchangeable as far as I know anyway

    Ruthless and Ironhauler Thank this.

Ok thank you. One more question, so basically the BK and the MK are the same block? So if I build mine with premium parts it should be the same right?

Yes. Just make sure you're not using the lower compression pistons otherwise it'll run like crap and smoke in the cold
