I am working on a 2007 W900 Kenworth and going to replace the linkage from the clutch pedal down to the other linkage and replace the ball joints on the other linkage. Just wondering what is the best way to get at them. The reason I am changing them is the clutch pedal wont return to home position, was told that this could be the cause.

Not sure about you’re setup my freight liner had bed linkage ball joints replaced them had to adjust length of rod clutch etc had problem breaking shift rod on trans finally figured out cab bushings in front being bad caused the cab to jump etc breaking the rod last time it just jumped the threads on rod really thought clutch was shot but figured it out best thing to do is remove access plate so you can see the fork engaging also check clearances on clutch adj ie 1/8 and 1/2-9/16 and if all is good replace the rod ball joints and adj for proper free play also check cab to frame bushings I made the mistake of adjusting clutch for free play and got it all out of whack took a while to figure out the real problem to start was the cab bushings
