I dont have any leads on 6NZ ecms right now, either have your current one flashed or keep an eye out on ebay.

Has anybody had any experince with broken rocker arms? since I did the rebuid I have broken 2 of them both exh valves I put the 340D jake heads on the 6nz and set them to .030 I have had so many different opinions on this. some people say that you can't have 340D's on a 6nz you have to have 340C's, others say you can but you have to update the exh rocker arms and 3 of the jake head bolts, and some say you can have 340D's but you can't have them set any looser than .025 not sure what to believe.

When you rebuilt the engine, did you get the intake and exhaust rockers in the right place. the exhaust rockers are a differnt part number due to they are hardened. I would have to look up the jake part numbers to confirm but I have not had problems setting jakes around .036 for better stopping power.

The mbn was set at .033 When I had the engine rebuilt they were not sure to what to set the jake lash at .025 or .030 they endend up setting them at .025 which I found was really weak, so I had them set them at .030 that was quite abit better but shortly after that I broke my first rocker arm ever and a month and a half later another one (different rockers ) No they are all in the right spots. .036 was that on a 340D jake head, on a 6nz or mbn?

I was having the same problem till Bruce at Pittsburg Power built me a new ECM.Now by pyrometer never gets above 900 even though the manifold pressure was higher.I am not talking about the power box but after I added it to the new ECM I now am happy with my MBN.
