Got my B model back from the shop yesterday. @wore out , I may be asking some questions in the future if you don't mind.

 

Looks good! Throw some good yellow paint on her!

 

I'm not in a hurry, so I will spend a bit of time sanding it down to try to get a decent paint job on her.

 

I was just teasing you. Yes do a good job on getting it sanded and cleaned up so the paint will last a long time on your investment.

 

I had an early FASS. It didn’t work out. I have had 2 different Air Dogs. I wasn’t impressed with them either (durability issues). I really believe the modern engines with high pressure injectors don’t benefit from an Air Dog or Fass. At least I never saw any improvements using them.
The biggest improvements came from a fuel cooler on the return line and 90 degree mandrel bent fittings replacing the 90 degree machined fuel fittings on the suction side.

 

Had the first dinner, now time to go have #2. Should be good and drunk when it’s over
