At just over a year in, staying on the extra board as there haven’t been many openings, not much regarding programs and such has affected me.
It would be nice to keep it that way, but I’m wondering what others think about the removal of some programs and the upcoming realignment.
Also, one of the crazier rumors I’ve heard is that Walmart is testing a program where drivers reset on the road rather than at home. I really doubt this one, and sometimes I think people hear things and repeat them with no regard for how stupid it makes them look.
Having a truck sit for 34 hours on the road isn’t exactly a great way to get maximum utilization out of equipment.
So I roll my eyes at that one...but...what if...
Thoughts folks?
Programs and realignment.

Walmart is going gaga on the electric tesla... I like to see that thing hold up sitting for 34 hours.
They should stick with taking the truck to the yard and store it for 34 hours.... In our area, they don't seem to go more than 15 miles anyhow... -

Yeah I’m not sure how they’re going to work them into the fleet.
Don’t care much either.
A question I would have would be what is the cost of electricity in the DC for charging as opposed to diesel?foggy Thanks this. -
What's the compensation for laying over on a 34?
It was $200 a 34 hour layover at my other employer. -
