    Some states have laws prohibiting "smoking in an indoor workplace". In the cab of a truck constitutes an indoor workplace.

    Some wackos go so far as to say even your personal vehicle constitutes an indoor workplace if you are on company business, but I'm drawing the line at that one. I own my pickup truck, and I'll smoke in it whenever I #### well please, so screw you.

    Seems I hit a nerve with this one. I was frankly more worried about being fined or hassled for smoking in the truck once I was solo and calling my own shots as far as breaks and such.

    I have empathy for non-smokers, and I always ask before lighting up. That being said, there is a huge difference between non-smokers and ex-smokers. The ex-smokers tend to be a lot more obnoxious about it.

    I break from the norm...I smoked for 15 years...quit this past Easter (no reason, just picked a day a month ahead, happened to be Easter). Used Chantix, cigs made me sick to my stomach, less than 2 weeks, and I was no longer a smoker.

    As for the "break from the norm", call me crazy, but I still think cigarettes smell delicious :biggrin_25525: I don't mind at all if someone smokes around me...heck, I kinda look forward to it...it's alright in my book as I've tried to smoke 3 or 4 cigarettes since quitting...but it hurts the lungs too bad to try and "learn" how to smoke again :D
