Best steer tire?

    This is just my personal experience, I run Bridgestone 283 steers. I run regional around 400 mile radius. Quite a bit on/off pavement running to where I unload.

    I've had great luck with them. I keep them rotated from side to side about every 30,000-40,000 miles. I used to run the Bridgstone 287, but they discontinued those a few years ago. I really really liked the 287. Those are very similar to the firestone 591 steers.

    Also, I like to get 16ply on my steers. That's just a personal preferance.
