Anybody know what the highest hp rating is on them in Australia?Or isnt it any different from U.S. ratings.Heard rumors of a 650/2250 Australia rating.

I was just talking to a buddy (former cummins mechanic) about this yesterday and he said at one time they was putting out 1000hp with the signatures pulling the trains. I don't know if they left them like that.

Agent has a sig 600 and hes over there so you may want to ask him.

620/2050 although cummins say they usually put 600-620 to the ground...

as far as the road train guys pushing the HP, i wouldnt be surprised, but noone is talking about anything. so it could just be rumor.

i think the new EGR motors (just came out in june) are rated slightly higher..

The question I have is, why isn't anyone cranking them sig 600's up and putting out more hp?

Yes,I have done quite a few rerates, and I have the software also.I agree with you Freddy, they are very quick to throw codes, for instance I tried the boost sensor mod on a N14,WOW.Engine idling while showing boost throws derate code, jake does not come on while showing boost.Oh well,we'll keep hacking at it,eventually some good will come out of it.:biggrin_25510:On the Sig 600 you can put a resistor on that has been dynoed at 60hp/200ftlbs.torq over stock.

I remember reading a magazine that said they were looking at rating them at 650/2250 but that was when they first come out here in 99.
A friend of mine drives a T604 with a 620 in it and it will boost to 38psi and passes me (now that my engine is back to stock) like I only had 475hp,looking at my dyno reports he would have to be putting out 700hp+.
