I used to haul fuel into mines. Sometimes the mud would be two feet deep. My 20' hose would literally sink and disappear while pumping off.

First time I called dispatch, told them I wasn't so sure about being able to get back out once empty (tanks are really light). Dispatch asks if I can get to their tank hook up, affirmative I tell them. Upon which I'm instructed to deliver and call back when I get stuck trying to get out.

 

I thought freight was going to be up October 30 to November 4th, seems like same old freight always available to IC. Cheap

 

I take it you got the truck fixed then?

 

They are absolutely done giving good loads to Ic's anymore Ic's need to leave

Going to be put on a CTE next week. I reckon this signals the end of my career.

 

What is CTE?

Might I ask which particular sin you are being called to do penance on?

 

I've had four minor accidents in the past 11 months... stuff like backing into poles, boulders, ect. that required a visit to a shop.

So now I've been searching the internet for jobs back home. Not trucking jobs however, long story short, I decided back a few months ago that I wanted to get off the road and get a regular job. But I was planning on doing it next spring, when the job market is better.
