Well, I’m still here and probably will be one more year. Should be debt-free by the end of 2018 at which time I’ll kiss trucking buh-bye! If I were going to drive another eight or ten years I’d get my own authority an d trailer. But frankly, I don’t want to be that deep into it.

 

Let's see, why did I quit Schneider. Because I saw a billboard promising $0.56 per mile at Yellow.

And then I quit Yellow because I got laid off with no hope of being rehired in the immediate future.

And then I quit ABF because they were trying to work me to death, and no amount of pay or pension made that worth it.

And now... I'm not quitting my current job. Lol

 

I’m quiting in 5 years. By that time I will have retired from the government. Then I will get a local job.

 

Hmm, disapproved, resubmitt in 90 days. LOL!!!

 

Just quit now. You're going to regret the time you spend away from home on the road.
