Do Swift Drivers experience more parking lot 'accidents' than the rest of the industry combined? My personal experience and listening to others who seem knowlegable I've come to that conclusion.

Wondering what percentage of Swift Drivers are 'gay' (you know, the F word). Some ex-Swift Drivers came to work for us after they lost the completely mis-handled Volvo Heavy Truck account; talk about Dwight Yoakam wannabes walking around looking at everyone's crotch! Oh yeah, they all made $60k a year and were home every weekend!(???) I found one seemingly honest driver who was involved from beginning to end in Swift's 'debacle' and he stated he barely earned $30k for calendar year 2005.

Wasn't too long ago a Swift Driver traveling west on I-80 in IA was 'bragging' (over his overpowered radio) how Swift 'begged' him to come back to work and how he now had it 'made' - he basically admitted his primary goal in life was to 'visit' every truckstop rest room and rest area restroom...it was pathetic. I haven't found one reasonable, well adjusted person say a good thing about Swift (goes for Schneider, JB Hunt, etc.)

TL segment is a 'wasteland' for all but a very select few.

 

Are you a repressed homosexual or just ingnorant? You have a problem with "gays" at every company you come in contact with.

 

The main problem I had with swift is; unlike JB or SN when I was
trying to pass them they would block me. I don't know what it
was but it would happen with Swift a lot. Swift drivers seemed
really pissed off at the world and reading this forum I now know
why. JB and SN would usually stay in the right lane and let me
get by. I would stay in the right if I saw one of the many trucks that
were faster than I was trying to pass.

 

I know nothing whatsoever about the homo drivers in Swift or any other company.But what I do know is I never talked to a Swift driver who was happy with Swift.When you go thru orientation with Swift,they drill it into you that they are the biggest and best trucking co.out there.To me they are the biggest mismanaged co.out there.Would not be surprised to see them fold at anytime.I actually think some of these young drivers believe what they are told about being the biggest and the best.So they figure they own the road.
