Yeah the only really good part of our benefits is the centers for excellence. The rest is not that great IMO but then most insurance blows these days.

Talked to a few guys that have had good work done at the CFE centers though. One guys wife had some cancer and they paid for 6 months of treatments and housing in Florida (?) Stuff like that.

One of our mechanics had a knee replaced and said they treated him great.

That is what they use to tell us...ask them now and they will tell you we are a trucking company, seeking independent freight with backhauls having same priority as store loads. As far as your advice to leave, I say you stay...especially after phase 2 sets in sometime this coming year...let's hear from you then:))

Never advised any one to leave. And our backhaul should have the same priority. Folks we are demanding it from the outside carriers. What does that mean if they out perform private fleet? But we are still not a trucking company. We are still here for one mission. Putting a product in a customers hand so they can pay for it at the register.

Without that they have no need of us. It is plain and simple folks.

So yeah the standards are going to get higher, the work a little bit harder. We can either step up, or step out.

Okie dokie. No several guys who have brought it on themselves. There are policies and procedures. Follow them and they will work with you. Don't and they have no help to give.

That is incorrect. The amount has already been determined and announced.

Not to add fuel to the fire here but.... I told my ops managers that having everyone extend out is becoming ridiculous!! Went home yesterday with over 4hrs left. They wanted to send me home today with 6hrs left!! :( the stores are taking till 17-18 to unload a 1400 truck!!

They need to move the unload times up IMO.

Stores need to unload on time. They asked for the 1400, 1600, 1800 schedule.

Little lull this week, extensions should be about over.

Not a trucking company? Well it's called Walmart Transportation, the have a DOT # and the have maybe 6125 trks. Sounds like murphy needs to report for a drug test!!!

All those white things with blue stripes and tires on them outside the transportation office are called trucks. And get this they have insurance on them and have ifta stickers like a trucking company.
