T-Mobile sucks for anything outside a major city. Verizon and ATT are the absolute best. I've alternated between both throughout the years and they have performed exactly the same as each other. Both have great coverage. I can't even remember the last time I was without service and run lots of mountains. I tether my phone to whatever I need without issue. Cricket (uses ATT's towers) has an unlimited plan for like 60 bucks. Also, their phones are dirt cheap. I just picked up a 5.5 screen phone for like 35 dollars. I'm hard on phones and at this price I can afford to toss them whenever I feel like it.

Sounds great. Only problem is on ATT website Im only seeing 5 GB for $25 a month. Am I missing something?

You missed out on the mobley sale. It's no longer available. The device was designed and sold to bring internet to cars. Unlimited and cheap. Plugs into obd2 port. But adapters are found on eBay.
Get a newer phone and you're coverage will expand. Wait till next year. 5g service starts lighting up. The gooberment has awarded contracts to charter and att to bring internet to rural towns. Coverage will get better.
Verizon may have a good sized foot print but they have their flaws where att doesn't. att works better but has nowhere near the speed. In my home state. Att has a much better print.
Next year cell coverage and internet is going to make big changes in coverage and speed. But the cease of net neutrality might also hurt us.4wayflashers Thanks this. -
I have a USB device for Verizon that I use on my laptop. I'm "granfathered" into the unlimited data plan and have a phone plan through Verizon also. I pay $124/mo for both. Coverage is great with both, and it's a rarity that I can't get a 4G connection with the USB drive.

Thats what Im looking at now. Which plan do you have? Do you stream a lot of video?
-
i don't recall the exact plan i have but it runs around 100 per month. for 1 phone and then you can add another non phone device like a tablet. i use the phone as a mobile hotspot. and also i buy my phones other places than Verizon keeps the bill lower keeps you out of contract. i did change to my current plan recently though. now that they came back out with the unlimited data i used to be on 10gb per month and had to watch video sparingly with that plan. i still don't do a ton of video on it but i do watch some on mobile data and no issues.

We use Verizon unlimited, too.
We looked into a satellite solution at one time. Holy Gods! I could put a kid through a year of college for less!4wayflashers Thanks this.
