Go FED/EX Ground, much more stable.
WildTiger1990, MrEd, QuietStorm and 1 other person Thank this. -
Maybe. Depends. Is it a dedicated run? Otherwise, the money might not be there. Running "the wheel" or "wild teams" might be a lot less than he wants to make money wise. They also have in cab driver cameras.
Ultimately, the cameras plus changing the way they dispatched were the reasons Mr. E and I left.
@Danny N Angel just finished with Schneider orientation. Maybe they can give you input. I do know they're out n teaming hard now. -
even though schneider pays less, i might pick it. it's hard to decide. we work for money, but at same time don't want to be miserable while working.

That camera won't protect you against your co. driver falling asleep and putting the truck in a ditch or worse.

I don't know about Schneider. I have a neighbor who works for them and doesn't like it but is pays his bills so he's afraid to jump ship. I've heard other horror stories too. In my very humble opinion, my advice to you would be to whittle Schneider out of your choices and pick between the other two companies you listed. I wish you the best luck in all you do and congratulations on your success!austinmike Thanks this.

As far as Schneider, I believe if you sign on as a dedicated driver... then that’s what you are. The actual account may differ. I don’t know anything about being local with Schneider. We are OTR team. All I can say is we both like Schneider a hell of a lot better than Covenant. We have a few friends who are solo drivers. 1) is OTR 1) is regional, I think. 1) was on a casco account and quit, due to sitting 2 sperate times for 2 days waiting to be dispatched. He had issues getting ahold of his driver manager. The rest of us like Schneider.
Now as far as inward facing cameras... those cameras are for the companies protection. If it’s not in their best interest to give you the copy of the video... you will need a court order to get it.
We do not have inward facing cameras at Schneider and we will not work for a company that does.Last edited: Nov 28, 2017
