How dang lazy can they get??!?

    That's how I was taught dry bulk. "Lines hook up here, idle at 1000 rpm, start blower, use these valves, etc, etc". I had to discover everything else on my own. Fortunately I'm a fairly smart guy who could figure it out, but I still can't figure out how a driver could suck molasses into the blower, past check valves.

    If there is a way to do something that is thought to be impossible...a truck driver will figure out how to do it!! Good and bad!!!

    That must be frustrating at times. I find, generally speaking, that young people are mind bogglingly disconnected from the physical world.

    Also, trucking tends to attract people who just aren't that bright and have failed at every thing else in life.

    A person who knows the purpose of every detail on simple textbook load should have the ability to secure the unusual loads. They just need to analyze and apply those principles.
