December 2nd will be my last day as a Professional Merchandise Redistribution Specialist. First Social Security check arrives in January. Medical card expires in December. I may never drive another truck. Although, I've had a couple offers to fill in now and again. I might do that, depends on what beach or mountain top is calling me at that particular moment! I'll continue to hang around here as long as I'm interested in the radio hobby. Feeling Blessed!
Retiring!!

i have NO desire to "fill in" for anyone at anytime.
we all "did our time", and "paid our dues" dozens of times over anyone else can do.
best we all retire ASAP rather than to work till we die, and NEVER enjoy the quiet life.Oldironfan, bigguns, DirtyhandsMcgee and 1 other person Thank this. -
Good for you mike! I hung up my keys OCT this year, although at age 60 I will work a few more years locally in a non-driving position. Enjoy!
