    so my truck been using way more fuel. same loads in last 2 months 70 gallons. now 100. im at a lost why. i mean thats a huge huge difference. man its killin me. esp for a newer truck.

    There could be a couple reasons. It's been really windy the last couple weeks. Diesel was switched over to winter blend which will cause a loss of fuel economy.
    When's the last time you changed your air filter?

    When's the last time you changed both fuel filters? Where do you park at? You sure your not donating to someone parking near you?

    i think august i changed it in ref to air filter.

    park at my comp yard lol. fuel filters as in the ones they change during oil change? cascadia has oil filter and 3 fuel ones. i change em during regular oil change.

    Have you ever tested the CAC? You could have either a bad hose or CAC has holes. I'd be looking at the air system from the intake through the to the turbo first before digging into anything else.
    Has the truck ever had the overhead set?

    i def didnt do overhead set. bcz idk wat that is or a cac. but ill bring it up to mechanic.

    Its also called a "Valve Adjustment" should run between $500-600
