    OK, after reading the thread in the union section, I realize what this is about. These were just temporary rules. They have now been made permanent. Until somebody else changes them, that is.

    Well the hos are messed up, years ago the driver conforts were few and far between. In todays trucks things are alot different and i feel we can all do more than what we are allowed to do. I would love to see 3 or 4 more hours per day and bump up the 70 to 80. It dont really matter what the hos rules are if a trucker wants to drive from la to ny straight thru than he will. For the rest of us that like to run legal....lets give us some more hours.
