You could plead it down to impeding traffic or some other charge that only carries a fine and doesn’t show up on your mvr.

If the truck is governed at 62 by the company I would get something in writing from them stating that, hire a lawyer and fight it.

Being governed at 62 doesn't mean the truck can't go 65. I've done almost 90 in this truck going down a steep grade where I had nobody in front of me and wanted to see what I could get it up to before the steep incline that was in front of me would slow me down. I hit 89.

My truck is governed at 68.

austinmike, gentleroger and ZVar Thank this.

GPS isn't perfect and also isn't instant. It only takes a reading every so often. If the GPS said 64 at some point and LIDAR said 65, good luck beating it.

GPS will never be admissible in court to defend against a licensed piece of speed detection equipment.

You were doing 65 in a what zone? Since there are no speed zones for 62, either 60 or 65, and you won't get a ticket for doing 65 in a 65, so it had to have been 60 or less. Which means either way, you were speeding.

Suck it up, pay the ticket and drive safer next time.
