What do you do when your back can't keep up anymore? This whole week has been a bugger, down in my back, every load a tarp load. Can't say much or they'll let me go, liability and all that. Van? Tank?

Before I got heated seat, I would plug a heating pad into the inverter and lean up against it. It made many trips more bearable. I will also take an ibuprofen before the start of a long day.

Ibuprofen by the fist full.

Tankers. I haul mostly chemical waste now. 99% drop n hook. Out and back. Home every weekend. Love it.

At my age, don't think I could tarp, either. Tanks, for sure. Only thing stresses the back a tad bit is dragging hoses, but nowhere near as bad on a back as tarping.
Best of luck to ya. Til then, Ibuprofen, and a heating pad, for sure.BigBob410, Shock Therapy and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this. -

Tarping isn't bad on the back. It's just unrolling then hooking bunjees or rope up. I don't actually lift the tarp, that's why god invented fork lifts.NavigatorWife, Highway Sailor, BigBob410 and 2 others Thank this. -
