They have to be dot fittings on a truck, they don't handle them. But napa in Romulus does.

We just picked up 3 DOT push to connect fittings and 50 1/4" O-rings from Fastenal.

No clue how they compare pricewise to places like NAPA, but McMaster has always had good quality items

Most stuff you find in a hardware store isn’t DOT approved. As has been mentioned I’ve never seen anybody check but sometimes non-DOT fittings won’t work on DOT tubing.

I had a leak in some 1/4” tubing that I tried to fix with some ferules from Lowe’s (non-DOT). The ferules wouldn’t work as they were too small. Evidently non-DOT tubing can be slightly smaller OD where the non-DOT fittings won’t work of DOT tubing.
