So far, time with the trainer has been great. We went from Kentucky, to indiana, back to Kentucky. We are now loaded with drywall and headed to Wisconsin. We already have a preplan for leaving Wisconsin. From there, we will be going back to Florida. That should be a nice long haul. We've only had one problem getting loaded so far, we were supposed to drop and hook the drywall for a pre-loaded trailer and someone had taken out load. We had to wait for paperwork for a different load going to the same place. We ended up staying the night at the shipper because my 14 hour clock had run out. So now we are riding out to Wisconsin.

Roehl has been great so far, and the only company that actually gives you money to get your CDL through them, and hired as an employee from day 1 that I have found. I did extensive research on hundreds (maybe like 50 lol) If there is another company that does all that, please feel free to correct me, I may have just not found it yet.

Left from Wisconsin last night, sat through a few hours of Chicago rush hour traffic on 94. Finally made it to the Gary terminal where we were routed for fuel, we stayed the night as well. Left Gary this morning, and now in Jasper, Tn. for the night. Many more miles til St. Pete to go. On another note, I get messages on the truck PC every day that has been letting me know how many miles I drove the previous day, my mpg, and quarterly mpg average. I have been getting above the mpg goal of 7.4 mpg everyday except one. Which I had like 6.85, fully loaded in the small mountains of Kentucky.

Gotta get some sleep, more to come!

You probably passed right by me in Indianapolis. I live right off I465 and Rockville rd. (US 36) Ive been researching companies too and still torn netween Roehl and Schneider. But your experience is pushing me towards Roehl

Roehl & Schneider do hair follicle drug test. May not matter to you, but some want that information.
