I have two, new, Galaxy DX 959s and both came with a 5 Amp, inline fuse. I have never had a problem with my radios. The manual tells the purchaser to use a 5 amp fuse with these radios.
wolverine11 Thanks this. -
Who is ignorant?

Was just laughing about what CBSparky ( forum member for a day) said you were in previous thread. Think Blue has a chance against OSU tomorrow?

Well I was up near the big house at 6am picking up something for my kid and it was already a bit stupid. People were already lining up near the stadium. I was offered tickets but hell if I'm going to spend money parking, eating with such a crowd, especially at a public school where the tickets should be cheap, and we can park for free and eat what we bring.
I'll just listen to it when I get home.BTShepp and wolverine11 Thank this. -
I have a galaxy 929 and it uses a 7.5 amp. Tried a 2 amp and it popped as soon as I keyed the mike. Sparky's pimped this radio some years ago,,good radio
