3M VHB double sided tape. With proper preparation and cleaning before application, that stuff is like welding. Run a small bead of silicone around the edge of the tape.
The ground effects plastic you see on virtually every car on the road is out on the car that way at the factory.
Use a heat gun or blow dryer to warm both surfaces after cleaning. The plexiglass support will break before that stuff comes loose.mike5511 Thanks this. -
And there is your "no holes" drilled solution! That is Lexon that I used. Same stuff they make motorcycle windshields out of. Pretty tough stuff.Last edited: Nov 27, 2017

This man speaks the truth.
The clear heavier-duty 3M Dual-Lock is backed with VHB, and it held my radio UP, like so, for 3 years, and almost 2 years thereafter, is still holding it down on top of the dash.

Well for now my solution will do till new trks come in feb..

I cant see how that holds a solid radio like that in place without Actually drilling a factory bracket

That's super duper velcro. I used that stuff for tools in my truck RV. I have a little tool box (15 pounds) fastened to the bottom of the bed in the sleeper.

Hello, I recently installed a new fan, blower motor inside my truck, and now static noise from it is being radiated into my Uniden, 980SSB, c.b. radio.
Also, I have my radio mounted under the center of the dash inside my truck, which is below a 12-volt, power switching hub I bought from Autozone.
The hub is radiating static noise into my c.b. radio whenever something plugged into it is turned on.
Would anyone have advice on how to get rid of my static noise?
