Its not that bad If you have thought out your business in advance. If you are struggling in life and just doing this on a whim, it might not be a good idea. Just make sure you have plenty of money in the bank, a business bank account with a business credit card to cover the cost of expensive repairs and etc. Me personally, I saved up 100k to buy a decent used truck, pay all insurances expenses for a year with million dollar liability, registration and sales tax. Go throught he used truck and pay to get everything fixed that was broken or near the end of its life. Thinking it out creates a stress free environment. Extra cash left over to cover the cost of not making any money for a few months till you get your feet planted and etc.
I'll run under your authority

So sorry that I don't live up to the standards you have.
So I am mean and lack some sort of tactful etiquette.
Big Deal.
I don't want the OP to fail but I won't sugar coat it or apologize for my approach.
This industry isn't for wimps, it is a place where people lose their life savings because they screwed up buying a truck and the truck was a POS.
His first step is defining what he really wants to do, not just run out and buy a truck and work under someone's authority, that's not a goal.
If the OP wants to engage others, he has to step up and ask questions to learn.bigguns Thanks this. -
I agree with this post. its called tough love

It isn’t like it would cost anyone else here except the OP a single thin dime, so why get hostile over it?

One of the best...

That’s for #### sure

It's not "tough love", it's being a bully - plain and simple. Is it really that difficult to be polite and tactful?
Bodhiknight Thanks this. -
Ok sorry for saying tough love

This is a quality thread. It already has the tone and tenor I really enjoy.
Bodhiknight and gokiddogo Thank this.
