Google must've caught that on a rare date. It's usually a blocked-up mess whenever I happen by. You ought to see how empty it is now. The scales are already pulled up.
Here's its future -- See the nothingness across the highway from the pet food plant?

skellr Thanks this. -
Heh, hey, Barcode, it might be sending you to the sex shop at the Sapp Bros.

As for the Pilot being gone, I don't see it as much of a loss as truck stops go. There's still the TA, where at least half the spots are reserved. Oh, and don't forget the Flying J in Aurora where the idiots park along the curb, nosed up to the No Parking signs, so that the trucks in the real parking spaces can't get out.lilillill Thanks this. -
I agree. It was dumpy and a cluster to get in and out of most of the time. People were using it, though and I am sure there will be more than a few drivers expecting to sleep or fuel there and finding a rude surprise.

No offense. The Pilot was a major accident waiting to happen. As i have stated previously in other post's. The PIlots, LOves, and some off breed brand trucks stops have no room, especially in our world of the millions of inexperienced drivers (lack of driving experience) trying to get into small truck stops. Seen many accidents in these places. I never cared for that place

when did this happen I have not been to Denver in 3 years, sidenote my wife thought I was drinking too much beer there but the Mexican food was good

Pleanty of parking between Denver and Grand Junction, Idaho, Springs, Vail, Gypsum, Glenwood Springs, De Beque, all have some type of truck parking right off I-70, some are truck stops, some are on the side street, some are rest areas or parking areas.
So I’m not sure the last time you traveled through the Rocky Mountains west of Denver, but you definitely should fact check yourself before publishing inaccurate information.speedyk Thanks this. -
Sheesh, chill out man, nobody on here takes anything as gospel. The OP just threw out what he thought, maybe there wasn't a bunch last time he was through. It wasn't written in stone.
