What DDS said, the manifold may not be worth it if you dont want to lose response. Im not sure but i think the 2WS exhaust housing is smaller than on the older 1LW models, i know they are way smaller on the 6NZs and MBNs so that 2WS turbo may not be the best upgrade......
My dads truck is a 1LW with fuel wire, 5232 codes, B manifold, C16 turbo, and 550hp program, its doing 574whp. Its a bit sluggish down low and i think he needs some better ecm settings to be able to spool the turbo quicker down low.
Cat diesel power!!!!

anyone familiar with WV, KY TN?
-
Alittle bit why? what are you looking for?
-
Typical CAT pulls down low and dies off later in the rpm band.
-
got a 2000 KW 475 cat how can I get a little more power? have fuel temp resistor.
-
Ya, the fuel temp wire is good for 40 hp, If you can get someone to change your injector codes, thats good for another 40 to 50 hp

Does anybody have any idea's on this problem.
When I let the engine idle for say 20 min, when I take off it lets out a puff of blue smoke once it gets some boost. If I just rev it up slowly and don't let it build any boost it won't do it. It isn't fuel (I can smell the oil) also it is using about a lt/quart every 2 days. For those of you that don't know the engine was rebuilt about 800 hrs ago it has done this for most of the 800hrs. I have ruled out seal in the turbo, comp, the head was rebuilt when the engine was done so I don't think it would be guides. I have asked at the shop that rebuilt it and they said maybe its one of the new cyl kits I don't see any blow by out the blow by tube or out the filler cap when I have it off when the engine is running. another shop said that maybe it just needs to break in a bit longer (I'm having trouble with that one too) So if anybody has got some good idea's please enlighten me.
Bye the way good to see you back DDS
