Well you never listed my favorite a KW T800 but I voted for the KW W900. I like the T800 for its looks, turning radius and sloped hood which gives better visability.

only really been behind the wheel of two trucks on the road - 379 and 387... for me, the 379 won hands down. It just... well.. fit better. I was spooked at first by that 2-mile long hood, but after a day or two on the road, I found I just felt more comfortable that I did in all the three weeks I spent in a 387.

It may help that I'm tall enough to just stick my head out the window when backing :)

(I did have one complaint... the joker who installed the load-lock rack put the darn upper bracket in up-side down. It was one of those with the sliding lock-bar to hold the load-locks, not the hinged type. There was absolutely no way to pull the bar out far enough to get more than one LL in- the darn bar would bang up against the fairing.

    Stupid shop jockeys.

In my case, no experience. But the lack of support from the rest of the industry seems telling, doesn't it?

I like the one that pays the best. I've had the least amount of time in the shop with a KW/Cummins. In my opinion sometimes you're paying just for the name. And I'd never own a Cat. Cat has too many rules on who and where can fix or maintain their engines. Which makes sense because they make alot more from construction equipment and can't be bothered by a truck.

I love the looks of the 379, the layout in the truck fit an finish are great, drove a frightshaker before an what a rattle trap, dash, doors everthin made a lot of noise. Peterbilt has better legroom.

Older Western Stars (built in Canada) are the only way to fly. T800 would be my second choice.
