18 speed autoshift will work how you are wanting, it works the same as your 10 speed autoshift does, when in manual mode you will be able to select whatever gear you want, 18, 17, 16... etc splitting all the way.

Howdy biytech,
Thanks for your reply, my 10 speed Auto Shift will not allow me to "skip" gears, if the 18 speed version does allow skipping gears that would be a very good thing.
