That's funny you are taking Pecans TO Texas, I thought they had plenty of homegrown down there.

Did ya get your PTO fixed? I'm curious what the problem was.

 

Doing good so far. Pulling better since I put a twist in its tail . Grossing around 68K coming home last night from Greenville, PA , kicked it out of OD once. It does alright for a dinasour of sorts . I have a bigger custom built pump out there I'm going to put on and play with later. It's not a toy so I watch what I do, easy to over do it!

 

I am still using it a little bit out in the field. I'll let you know what I find out when I get it apart in the shop. I'm hoping it's just a broken spring. It looks like I have a Chelsea 489 series.

 

Got a crap load out of Cincinnati tomarow. I ask dispatcher "did I not complain enough when I pulled that same load 2 weeks ago?"

So we started talking about the "Driver / Dispatcher relationship manual"

I told her she needs to re read the part about the Driver complaining and the dispatcher just listening and smiling saying I'm sorry.

She thought the drivers should all say this when they get the rate con.

"Lol just say thank you for finding me loads and keeping me rolling as much as possible, I appreciate all the hard work you do to try to get the best rate with the least amount of work as possible & thats it..."

So I asked all our drivers to send her this exact message at 7 am tomarow morning.

Lol, she has so much to learn!

 

Budd of mine sent me this today. He has been working on it on the side (While driving for us) for 5 years. 88 Freightliner. Completely rebuilt including paint. Cummins with a 15spd. He's going to lease it on in January.

 

The FLC was the classiest one of all of em IMHO. Guy in Conway has one that's really good shape, 400 B model a 13 and 3.70's I think it's a bargain at 13k

 

@Logan76 did you investigate why your yoke was sloppy?
