You probably didn't get a chance to read some of my previous posts, same problem. I think I posted mostly in the Cat Power Harness, in this section. You might want to look it up; (good reading about MBNs in there, I learned a lot!).

My rubber hose had almost broken in two, causing the check engine light to come on momentarily, mostly under a load, wouldn't throw a code.
This caused my engine to de-rate to about 75% of the rated horsepower, (my 475 was de-rated to about 360hp). This has to be re set by someone that can re program ecms, to my knowledge it will not reset itself after you repair the cracked line.
There is a way to use the cruise control switch to see if it logged an "occurance, or incident" (forgot the correct term).
On my W900, you would turn the cruise OFF, then using the set/resume switch, move it either way, up or down, hold in that position, and look at the yellow check engine light. It will blink a number of times, pause, then blink again. Count the blinks; for instance 5 blinks, pause then 2 more blinks means "52". The # for my rubber hose failure was either 52, or 25,-(sorry, I have a very poor memory). Maybe Sleepless Nights can help here, he is the one who explained that to me, along with the help of 550, and DDS, (and a couple of others) I have been able to improve my MBN somewhat, just need more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to get it running like a CAT should.
    Good Luck

At the risk of getting banned, I think some of the moderators are a little ban crazy :biggrin_25526: I personally think the guy (DDS) is a big asset to the quality of the forum.
