Drivers never know till it actually happens.Some can handle the wind better then others but unfortunately things like what's in that link happens.

 

Some States you'll be waiting along time Wyoming for example you'll never see a calm day.What you consider high wind I consider that normal.Everybody is different.If you feel unsafe then park it rather then get more nervous and stressed.

 

When you see other vehicles rolled over on the side of the road its time to call it quits before you join the line. A good example of this was on the I-15 north of SLC UT there's a section there that gets high winds around this time of year known to actually blow over locomotives (no joke) the highway patrol will close down the freeway to all trucks as we all know what the potential is if trucks start flying through the air and rolling over.

 

If you can't comfortably handle the conditions, park it.
