    Dear Mark. Could you tell me how to solve this problem with TND-730. Powers on, gets satellite reception, calculate root, touchscreen - working fine, but...
    Working 3 - 5 min, then "DEVICE ERROR" message comes up, can't use until restarted, then again working 3 - 5 min (see attached photo). Thanks

    Get a different brand device. Rand Mcnally has a weak system, Kevin Rutherford tried to partner with them, but their equipment was not up to his standards.

    Odd I have never seen that message. Did you buy this off of someone else? I would suggest you hook to the Dock via your computer and then do a Diagnostic and Repair to fix any corrupted files.

His opinions are just that His Opinions and should not be treated as gospel. It's up to each individual to research and check all advice and recommendations and not just take any one's word for things.
