Dry humor on my part. He was the talk of the nation just as was Bonnie & Clyde.

I recently saw a female body out on the road next to a mangled vehicle. She was not wearing her seatbelt.

    Ok
I can show ya pics of 2 car accidents where the driver would have been dead if he wore a seatbelt.
But then I wouldn't be here posting with you guys.
Seatbelt debate can go back and forth.
Not disputing they can save lives.
Just that 2 times I've been in the minority.

I don't fancy flying through the windshield at 65 MPH. Nor to I care to have my neck snapped because my head got jammed between the roof of the car and the airbag. Airbags are designed to work with a person belted in only.

Whatever unusual circumstances that MIGHT possibly result in death due to a seatbelt, I'll accept. Because hitting something at freeway speed and flying out of the windshield to become roadkill isn't a one-off situation, it's physics.
