It's pretty strange seeing one of those familiar orange Freightliner sleepers with a missing drive axle, huh?

trailers only now although there may be a few tractors running around not cycled out of the fleet yet. -
I know I've seen them, but I must just be editing my memory to make em pumpkins. The CRST ones are the same ol' gold hotels, though!
Mike2633 Thanks this. -

Is anyone working the local job for Schneider out of Indianapolis Indiana?
They have me set up for orientation next week for a local job they told me it will be hauling furniture (multiple stops) and rolls of carpet but the more I dig the more this local position scares me doesn’t sound like a very stable company to work for or I shouldn’t say company more like the position.
Recruiter didn’t have much information.
And from all the research I have done and from where they have me going for orientation and training Watkins Shepard trucking out of North Carolina I figured I’ll try and find someone running that account already.. -
From my experience there, if you can go to the terminal and talk to the terminal manager. You will prob get more info. All those recruiters are Schneider recruiters working off a piece of paper. They let all the watkins recruiters go back sometime last year. Also be careful because some of those terminal managers are Schneider guys also, and never worked there before Schneider took over. The local stuff is usually a lot better because your terminal manager would be your DBL and you don’t have to fool with Montana dispatch. Unloading is not a hard job, plus all you are doing is tailgating. And most places have unloaders so all you do is watch them get it to make sure they get the right stuff. The only places they train are conover Nc or Missoula, MT. So that’s why they sending you to NC.

LTL is the best section of trucking imo. I just started out, but 16K in 3 months is amazing. I've even grossed almost 2K twice a week on 3232 miles and then 3140 last week. Keep in mind I'm low man in pay scale. I love it.
Mike2633 and Bob Dobalina Thank this. -
I saw the rather elusive Schneider pups this morning. Both were liftgate trailers.
