FYI.. that was me.... the interview went well for what Mr. Hill could talk about on-air.

 

Was there some stuff that was a secret and he couldn't tell?

 

Only problem is John Hill and everybody else in DOT are on their way out to be replaced by Obama appointees . That could be a good thing . Time will tell .

 

Any top people at the FMCSA can not publicly speak about upcoming rulemakings until they are published in the Federal Register.

At times this means that John Hill can not talk publicly or on-air about items that will be published in the near future.

It's not a "secret" thing.. its giving everyone involved with the rulemaking process the same access to information to avoid "playing favorites".
