I had a Ithaca 12 feather light pre safety regulation model. Hold trigger and pump barrel. Sold it to my brother. Wish I did not.

Even sarcastically this is so bad.

On a serious note, I had an unexpected situation come up that put me in a bind as to what to do with my guns. Some gun dealers will hold them but you have to go through another background check to get them back and that might take time if NICS is busy. They will not hold your ammo either.
Sooo... I'm paring down to just my carry gun and no extra ammo. -
I have a gun shop that I shoot at that I took my CCW at. The owner and I hit it off and when they first came in, he showed it to me and I bought it. I dont remember how much I paid for it. I was actually amazed that it was legal. Very small for a shotgun, perfect size for a close quarters home gun.
The thing about that particular gun is, it at the very limits of legality. If you change the grip, it's illegal.
Hey gang, if any of you are thinking about CCW and buying and carrying, take your time, do your homework. A gun has to have a certain feel in my hand. Go around to all the shops in your area and hold a bunch of guns in your hand. Make a list of the ones that feel good to you and then get on YouTube and see if a guy like "Hickok45" has a video on the gun. -

That's a sweet looking weapon right there.

Here is another tip: (In a safe manner with the clerk's permission and understanding, etc.) When checking out a handgun, hold it in the way you would if you were going to shoot a target, then point it (at eye level) at something you ARE NOT looking at. Hold it there and bring your eyes around to the gun and the "target" you pointed it at.
What you are looking for is the sights to be level and reasonably in line with the "target". If the muzzle is high or low it is not going to be a "natural" pointer in your hand. Every time you pull up on a target you will have the extra adjustment of lining up vertically with the target. It's something you can train around, but why do that when there are so many options out there? The newer Glocks (and others) come with interchangeable back straps to help dial them in to your hand for this reason.
Handling old handguns I have found that some are really nose high in my hand. Others have been dead on, like the 1911 and Luger. There is a reason those two grip profiles have a long history of being used in target pistols.TripleSix Thanks this.
