When I bought the MBN new I was told that if I waited 2 years that I could uprate it from 500hp to 525 free! same thing if I had only had 475hp. But quess what when the two years were up. Free turned into lots of $$.

NO, Cat et does not know what your engine should have. If the dealer did a warranty download to open a work order, that I would be sent to Cat. Most OEM dealers do not do warranty downloads unless its warranty. Tire size only affects speedo output and mileage logging in ecm. The tech at say k/w would not have all the flash File numbers in his head, hell I have problems remembering flash file numbers. I would be 99% sure that they would not notice the different file number. Now if you put a 600 hp file in, they may notice that is not avaiable in that engine serial. If you leave your truck running while they hook up to change your ppm for your tire size, the engine hp will not show in the configuration screen.

If someone from P/power is getting infomation off here and then ripping people off with it I would class that as VERY VERY LOW:biggrin_25516::biggrin_25516:

If you don't mind me asking, what does your ecm show for mpg?
On my '04 mbn, it showed a lifetime average of 4.86, But if you read the above posts about my tire size, that would explain part of it. If I manually figured the mpg, factoring in the correct miles, I got 5.3.

The cat computer mileage may be off, tank mileage is the best to use. The Cat computer can be calibrated in the settings by an average tank mileage. Then in the settings there is a calibration factor. Any time you change, injector codes, fuel settings, add temp wire or boost wire, the computer will mileage will be incorrect. This is more of am issure for guys with a Cat dash display.

    droy Thanks this.

Sorry, have not seen a email yet, try again.

If you secondary is plugging up, and you do find fuel line stuff, you should only have to replace the line from the primary to the transfer pump at the engine.
