This is a video for one of our dial in runs at St Thomas raceway this summer. The fastest we ran that day was 15.8 92 mph. If you look at the rear tires, We were having traction issue on this run. Once we got the rear end set up right it launched better. ( sorry about the end of the video, Could not find a program to edit)

That's cool DDS, what is done to the truck?
-
Its a C16, injectors, cam and programing. A little gas to get it going.....
-
Is that the one you said was running the stock turbo??
How much PSI is it putting out?? -
Its a stock 7cz turbo, pushing 47 psi with the wastegate disconnected.
-
If you listen to the CAT guys down here the engine sould blow up soon as you turn the key...lol.
Sounds COOL though,is it just for racing or is it used for a bit of work??? -
The owner works it and with 3.36 gears, he also runs 90 mph everywhere. He got caught a few times and slowed down a bit. We shift with the jake to drop the rpm faster for quiker shifts. Some guys think its back firing on shifts but it the jake brake on.
-
Sweet!! Makes sense using the jakes.
-
I wired the jakes direct like a older 3406b, the cat computer does not apply the jake fast enough.
Donk Thanks this. -
How long would you think the turbo will last???
I thought the turbo was the weak link on the C-16.
I have just been watching some truck drags on you tube how come your engine burns a lot cleaner, mine was like that ''smoke then burn clean''
is it all down to tuning or are the other ones running huge HP????
