Have you been taking lessons from notarps4me and AfterShock? That sounds like the cheeky sort of thing one of those two would say! I love it!:yes2557:

That was an interesting read. Thanks to The Fonz.

Some of these issues are so burning as to be extremely necessary to research so as to insure that operators of motor vehicles at all times take the law as well as the practicality of circumstance under advisement before making a rash decision that may lead to a motor vehicle accident and therefore rendering bodily injury to innocent persons and property damage to public and private property!:wink:

If a man talks in the woods, and his wife isn't around...is he still wrong?

Well now Im trying to remember where I heard this but it was a long time ago so I might not have the facts correct. However, I had heard something along the lines of postal workers have the ability to place people under arrest. One of those laws that nobody remembers.

    Anyone else heard of this?

Indeed that was an interesting read, but it didn't even mention anything about the scenario laid out by psanderson. The only thing remotely close to psanderson's answer was the part about delivering a declaration of war. However, that's not what our forum's very own retired Federal DOT Officer indicated. IIRC, he only mentioned communication efforts among top government officials were Washington, D.C. to be attacked the same as Pearl Harbor was nearly 67 years ago. Seems to me the Snopes team needs to humor this notion as well. They touched on communication, but in a very broad sense. I'm not saying Snopes is wrong, as they seldom are. I'm just wishing they'd offered up more specifics.
