Hi, I’d like to start by saying I’m not here for ridicule or bashing. I don’t care about any rude comments about what I’m doing with my life. I’m strictly looking for new opportunities/advice. I have been driving for Swift for about 1 1/2 years now and I’m wondering what’s out there that is better. I know they are a training company and the pay is minimum to a “standard”. Looking beyond the camera and the speed of the truck, they keep me moving and I moved out of my apartment so I don’t really have any bills. I enjoy being out here so I don’t seek much home time. I haven’t been in any wrecks, no tickets/fines, and I am pretty confident in my abilities so far. I’d obviously like to make more money, but the micromanagement from swift is what is getting to me. I’d prefer to be in a situation where I’m given the info for the load and left alone. I haven’t been late on a load yet and don’t plan on it in the future. If anyone has some input, please share. Thanks.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Looking for new opportunities.
