    If you watch the smoke color change, thats the nox kicking in. This truck smoke allot with a load on. Bobtail racing does not smoke near as much as in the loaded pulls. Check out coga on utube, he does some bobtail runs, does not smoke like his loaded pulls.

    The turbo has been replaced once so far, not because it blew up but because the exhaust housing cracked in to the cartridge area bad enough to cause a bad exhaust leak.

    We tried to load it down but the dyno would not pull down passed 1000hp, The exhaust temp gets up there quick but when I was with him pulling a load van it did not get passed 1100 but he did not lug it.

    I noticed the smoke colour change (never seen nox working) thought it just cleared quick.
    Watched some of the semi pulls MAN thats got to be hard on the truck,I will be coming over to the USA June 2010 I know its a long way off but I will be planing it around some of these shows.

    That was something i noticed with my c-12.. i could shift without the jakes having time to come on.. cat couldnt reduce the latency..

    nox? nitrous oxide?

    If you want to change real fast you dont need to wait to get the rpm down, just push the gear in with using the clutch(no double clutching). It might make a little bang but Fuller can take it every once in a while. That's how log truck drivers are doing it here when it's a tough situation. Here's Bouchard in Baie-Comeau, he's quite quick shifter.
