Jakes and cruise not working at all despite 45F outside . That's a good thing because it excludes the posibility of any temp sensor malfunction

Alright , so I'd like to thank you guys for replies , I've got it figured out , went home yesterday and found out the clutch switch was messing around , replaced with a new one ($35 or so) and I can finally enjoy the sound of that straight piped jake ! Thank you fellas
Oxbow Thanks this. -
I'll second this, Kenworth switches on trucks new enough to have an MXS are EXPENSIVE!
There's an oil pressure switch, I'm thinking for the jake solenoids, or something in that area, that we've had to replace twice on our MXS truck. The last one has been in for several years now and for the life of me I can't remember if it was messing with the jake, or threw a light or what was going on when it went out. That, and eating turbo studs, have really been my only complaints on my truck with the MXS Cat. I feel lucky compared to some of the stories I've heard of them though!Oxbow Thanks this. -
This too, clutch linkage under the cab was on its way out and before it got replaced the clutch pedal was bound up just enough for the jakes not to kick on. Local driving I hardly ever use cruise except for the rare road trips where I get to stretch my legs out!
