Most landowners don't want them but they still find a way to get them in the ground. Pipelines still being laid in ND right now. Use to be that they shut down/slowed down in winter time...

Most PW is hauled away in poly. That's all fine except when its run on the surface and exposed to sun and cattle. It's service life is severely shortened. PW leaks are always nasty too. They don't get detected near often enough as there is no one "running " the line on a regular basis or at all in many cases. PW disposal is a cost that many would rather forget.......until the trucker bootlegs a short load or uses the company pin to dump somebody else's load. Then it gets a lot of attention.
Ultimately PW by pipeline is the cheapest way to go short of your own SWD which in itself is a good thing to own. Sized right with truck and pipeline capacity a new one can payoff is less than 12 mos, they earn that much, yes.pathfinder1361 Thanks this. -
