I don’t mind that on occasion! Not at all.

What I wonder is how much XPO has really changed things, because they seem to still be doing an awful lot of what Conway did back in the day and Conway really never changed there ways even after they merged all the regional carriers in 2006.

Good because you'll have to figure out how to wrap a sleeper truck and 48' trailer around the Wendy's on Chagrin Blvd in Woodmere. It can be done I've seen it in real life ha-ha. Usually there sleeper runs are Detroit, Cincinnati, and West Virginia. West Virginia is kind of hard to drive a truck in have to watch it out there.

You could also try Dairymen's/Borden Dairy I know they are usually hiring.

Those overnight team runs are brutal, man. Little sleep, lots of physical labor. I mean, plenty of guys do it because the money is there but you couldn't pay me enough. Mclane and papa John's run like that too. I think even Sysco has some of those runs, Mike?

Pretty sure they do but the pay is very weak from what I know. I'd put them at the bottom of the list.

Sygma has those runs, we have over night runs in our chain division but there not team runs which makes a difference. Papa John's is brutal that's about has brutal as it gets. Domino's and Papa John's are just brutal, but Papa John's is the brutalist of them all. Domino's doesn't run teams so there a bit easier. But like Papa John's and PFG those are all team operations there fine jobs if you can stay up 24 hours straight.

From what I can tell, they're growing and getting into the warehousing business. Out of everyone we've thrown out, they'd probably be me first choice unless I wanted to truck food (I don't). lol

XPO bought out Conway because in the early 1990's CF Inc started Menlo Logistics which was the warehousing and dedicated fleet running division of CF and then when CF Inc. Spun off CF in 1996 and renamed the company CNF Transportation Inc, they kept Emory World Wide (a bust of a company they were an air freight company and were an awful investment for CF Inc they almost bankrupted CF Inc in 1990.) and Menlo Logistics which was a big time logistics player. XPO wanted Menlo Logistics and also was getting calls for a lot of LTL freight so they went and bought out CNF Inc and they got Menlo and Conway and Conway Truck Load which was the old CFI from Joplin, MO.

XPO has since sold off Conway Truck Load they sold it to Transforce who then turned it back into CFI. CFI was a big contract outsource hauler for Conway and that's why Conway bought out CFI in 2008.
