Confused and need some GOOD ADVICE

Talked to Thomas yesterday and things are looking good. Told Roadmasters today I was not going to their school. Going with Carolina Trucking Academy and Thomas said that would be fine. Apply after getting my first week under my belt and then he would process the prehire.

Thanks for turning me on to them. They look like a really good fit.

At this point, my target companies are:

KLLM
Maverick
Transport America
Roehl


and possibly US Xpress (rider and pet policy)

Thoughts?

No true decision made yet. I did get a commitment for a pre-hire from Transport America (talked to Susan - really nice lady)(and it was genuine), but as of yet, I am still hunting. Do a google for truck companies in Michigan and it will give you a great list of companies. That's how I got started.

You know what, there is something else you can do (can't believe I didn't think about this in my last post)

Create a thread like I did and let these guys know what you want to do and what you would be WILLING to do. I can promise you, there are some very knowledgable people here who are more than willing to give you some great advice. Personally, I would love to make some suggestions, but I am still a novice (aka newbie), and these guys know a whole lot more about this stuff and the various companies than I do. My advice would be, at best, shallow. However (contrary to what I just said), go to your UserCP, and pull up about forums about the various companies. It won't take long for you to get a feel of the general concensus.
